Welcome to poem number 7 of The Ten Bulls, and the seventh insight into the journey towards enlightenment.
Poem number seven is titled “The Bull Transcended”, and is written as follows:
“Astride the Ox, I reach home.
I am serene. The Ox too can rest.
The dawn has come. In blissful repose,
Within my thatched dwelling,
I have abandoned the whip and ropes.”
The Meaning of the Seventh Ten Bulls Poem
At this stage, you are in a state of harmony within yourself and with The Source.
You have completely dissolved your ego, you have let go of all attachments from within your mind and your heart, and your mind is still, empty, and at peace.
Your mind no longer modifies itself and influences your behaviour and you have tamed your mind and integrated with The Source.
You have discovered The Source, and The Source has discovered You, and you are in a state of harmony.
Now both The Source and You can rest together as One, as you have allowed all desire, want, and Will to be stripped from you completely, and you are surrendered to The Source completely.
Your mind is blank, uncontrolled thought is reduced to nothing, and Your Will becomes the Pure expression of Source Will.
Your connection and harmony with The Source put you in a state of serenity, calmness and peacefulness, and untroubled in mind, body, and heart, as your life flows effortlessly down the channel meant for you.
The dawn has come, you have been illuminated by The Light of The Source, and you feel happy and joyful as everything is in a state of tranquillity, within your heart and your mind.
No longer do you need to seek for anything. Now The Source guides you like a river bed guides the water down the stream.
You can rest, now you have found your place within the loving embrace of The Source.
In this state, you no longer require your whip and rope.
You no longer require the same devotion and dedication to The Source or require the same self-discipline over your mind that you once required.
You have now completely emptied yourself, surrendered, and allowed The Source to drive your every thought, word, and action.
You have become the instrument and reflection of Source Will, and Source Love, which moves you and drives you.
Now you feel that you are always connected to The Source from your heart, and you are completely One with Source Will.
